My eldest daughter came two weeks earlier than expected. When she was 4 days old we went to the local Walmart at 7 a.m. after we had given up sleep.
We needed some hand sanitizer as we were not properly trained or prepared for the traffic a new baby brings.
We bought a pretty common brand, Germ X. Every time I smell this hand sanitizer I feel that sensation of fear, excitement and joy the little newborn in my arms brought me.
While I can't recreate that newborn smell, I hope you can feel it, in your photos.
